Reaching to Unreached

Bhagwati and her husband were so worried about skin infection of their only son. The infection started with little but became worse when it spread all over his body and caused so much itching.

During the OPD service program organized by the healthcare project, Bhagwati brought her son for medication and shared that they have done all they could do for her son’s healing but all in vain. She also shared that how much money they have wasted on witch doctors too and at last they had nothing left over for further treatment of her son.

After taking a detail history, the team suggested Bhagwati and her husband to visit PCDP head office where the healthcare team will assist them to visit skin specialist. Meanwhile, the team gave him some medicines and skin ointment and also suggested Bhagwati to give her son bath twice a day using Dettol water (disinfectant and antiseptic solution).

The team followed up the case and happy to know that the boy was doing much better than before. Bhagwati and her husband were very thankful to the healthcare project team for their help and guidance.
